1. Kaolin – Punta Palmeto – Calogero.
Raymond writes in its pdf;
“trail in good condition. The stretch between the Kaolin Caves and the thermal baths is perhaps the most evocative of the whole island. From the west coast you can admire the vastness of the panorama and enjoy the unique silence immersed in rich nature.
“

The path takes you to Punta Palmeto and from there you can reach San Calogero or the village of Quattropani.
We didn’t went down in that occasion but I have done it several times with the Greens Eolie trekking group 2020-2024.

The wall can still be seen during a disc in 2019 that can be seen at a higher point.
Large part of the wall is affected by the erosion which caused the stone to fall.

conclusions
The island of Lipari is the Aeolian island that offer the biggest amount of trekking routes. We do regular weekend trek from September to May.
